Homes built in this time period also tend to be less energy efficient when compared to today's more modern homes. However, many of these older homes have been update d over the years and the prices are very favorable. One of the advantages of these older communities is they are generally in more favorable or more "close in" locations near popular cities, airports, medical facilities, etc.
