When buyers think of finding a home in the mid $100's, (2014) they are often forced to look at the older communities built in the 70's,80's & 90's. While older homes are often more affordable they frequently require updating. Also the newer homes are generally found in communities with locations farther out from the city. Here you can buy a new energy efficient home from Meritage or LGI and still be only 20 miles from Phoenix and 5 miles from Avondale.
